motion processing brain

Motus software. Get real-time information about motion and use it for your performances in most spectacular ways.

This is where the magic happens. Everything that comes from Motus device ends up in powerful motion processing brain. Besides, Motus software is a host for all the instruments. Record, edit or play motion data and use it for sounds or MIDI. Motus software provides following features from motion data, full API documentation will be available after pre-order campaign.

The size of the device allows for easy handling and excellent control.

Motus is the hardware and the software. It tracks your motion, extracts the most important features of it (e.g. velocity, dynamics, displacement) and maps them to different sounds. These could be prerecorded audio material, real-time generated sounds or effects. Connect Motus device to an app in your computer or smartphone and enjoy music you create through headphones or sound system.

Motus Barebone

Motus Pro Barebone. A smaller and lighter device version without usual body.

Instead of standard enclosure there’s thin plastic layer wrap. Barebone version is useful for those needing it to be very small, hidden into the props or disguised under clothes, making Motus invisible for the audience.

Motus Barebone

Bridg receiver using an ultra low latency wireless technology, which works on globally legal 2.4 GHz frequency range.

It ensures fast and stable connection usable in the professional domain for real-time interactions scenario. Connect up to 12 devices simultaneously, working range < 30 meters. There is a possibility to extend Motus use range even more by connecting external 2.4 GHz antenna using standard SMA connector on the Bridg.

Motus Hacker

A starter kit for any technology enthusiast who knows that DIY also means improve it.

Build your own Motus device, add external sensors and take advantage of Arduino community with thousands of open source libraries. We kindly recommend Motus Hacker for everyone who wants to know how it works and do more.

Hacker package is equipped with PCB and all components (accelerometer, gyroscope, RC module, resistors, capacitors, push button) together with pre-flashed microcontroller – programmer is not necessary unless you want to tweak the code. We will provide instructions how to assemble everything. Auxiliary connectors on the PCB includes 2 digital, 2 analog (10-bit) inputs and 4 digital outputs.
